188C Significant Investor Visa

Criteria:

Age

There is no age limit for this visa stream and you are not required to meet the Department of Home Affairs' points test.

Complying investments

You will need to make an investment that complies as follows:

• invest a minimum of A$500,000 into Venture Capital and Growth Private Equity funds

• invest a minimum of A$1.5 million in emerging companies

• you may be required to invest in a balancing investment to make up a total of at least A$5 million in complying investments, depending on the amount invested in Venture Capital and Growth Private Equity funds and emerging companies.

Contribution to Victoria

To qualify for Victorian Government visa nomination, you must show that your complying investments will make a contribution to the Victorian economy in two key investment areas:

1. Venture Capital and Growth Private Equity investment

To demonstrate economic benefit to Victoria through your Venture Capital and Growth Private Equity investment you will need to show that:

• the Venture Capital and Growth Private Equity fund is actively sourcing investment in Victoria, or

• the Venture Capital and Growth Private Equity fund provider maintains an office in Victoria.

2. Emerging companies and balancing investment

To demonstrate economic contribution to Victoria through your combined ‘emerging companies’ and ‘balancing investment’ components, you will need to show that:

• Victorian investment is included in the chosen investments, or

• the managed fund provider maintains an office in Victoria.

Your fund manager can provide you with a fund compliance form that indicates the contribution the fund will make to Victoria.

Investments

Your fund manager must provide you with sufficient information to allow you to fully understand the terms and conditions of an investment and the financial risk involved in that specific investment.

Sufficient funds to settle in Victoria

Applicants and their dependents must have sufficient funds to settle in Victoria. It is the responsibility of the applicant to research and determine the cost of living in Victoria to ensure their own financial resources are adequate for settlement. Living in Victoria

You must have a genuine and realistic commitment to reside in Victoria and continue to contribute to Victoria through investment activity.

Victorian nomination requirements before 1 July 2015

On 1 July 2015, the Department of Home Affairs introduced a new Significant Investor visa Complying Investment Framework. For applicants nominated by Victoria before this date, view the previous nomination requirements for complying investments and contribution to Victoria before 1 July 2015.

Agreeing to the nomination obligations

You will be required to read, understand and agree to Victoria’s nomination obligations.

188C签证VIC维多利亚州担保申请条件：

州担保条款： 
1、申请人必须阅读或阅读过他们申请的内容，确认其中包含的信息是正确和真实的。
2、申请人确认自己满足DIBP 188C申请条件。
3、维州政府保留与DIBP共享与申请有关的相关信息的权利。
4、维州政府有权就有关申请问题直接跟申请人联系，比如投资活动对维州的潜在帮助。
5、维州政府无权代替DIBP决定申请人能否获批签证。
6、申请人联系方式变更会及时通知维州政府，而且同意州政府可能进行的调查。
7、维州政府不承担任何人、任何投资或业务活动产生的经济损失、成本或费用。
8、维多利亚政府担保不得转让给澳大利亚其他州或领地。
9、申请人真实想在维多利亚居住。
10、申请人到达维多利亚的一个月内与州政府联系。
11、根据188C签证和州担保的要求，申请人应居住在维多利亚。
12、在签证期间，申请人将保持在维多利亚投资,而且这些投资表现出有利于维多利亚经济发展，对维多利亚做出经济贡献的证据将被保留。
13、如果未通知维州政府而改变规定的投资选择，州担保将被撤消。

备注：如果未经维州政府书面批准，违反上述条款会导致州担保被撤销。

州担保总体要求：
1、满足DIBP对于188C重大投资临时签证的要求。
2、满足维多利亚对于188C重大投资临时签证的评估标准。

州担保评估标准： 
1、满足DIBP对于188C商业创新临时签证的要求。
2、满足投资以下要求。
 - 投资至少50万澳币到风险资本和私人股本增长(VCPE)基金。
 - 投资至少150万澳币到新兴企业。
 - 300万澳币的平衡投资，除了风险资本和私人股本增长基金、新兴企业，申请人还需要进行其他的投资。
3、年龄不限。
4、对维多利亚的贡献 
 - 如果投资风险资本和私人股本增长（VCPE）：VCPE基金必须积极的对维州进行投资，或者VCPE基金提供者在维多利亚有办公室； 
- 如果投资新兴企业或其他项目（满足500万澳币投资要求）：所选投资必须包含对维多利亚的投资，基金提供者需要在维州有办公室；

188C签证VIC维多利亚州担保申请流程：

步骤1：通过DIBP's SkillSelect提交EOI申请，记下EOI号码。

步骤2：填写VIC188C州担保条款和代理表。

步骤3：在维多利亚网站注册用户名。

步骤4：填写线下申请表，连同支持材料一起发送到businessmigration@liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au。
